My name is Amanda Verrips and I have been in the wedding industry for nearly 12 years. I have planned weddings all over the country including Seattle, Napa, San Francisco, Mystic, and Providence. I am a recent transplant to Augusta, GA and I have fallen in love with the South! I am a wife and a momma to 3 sweet kiddos and I have a heaven baby. She helped me really appreciate this life that I have been blessed with and gave me a strong burning desire to love on couples as they begin their journey together.

I went into wedding planning because I love serving people and being in the background managing the details on the most important day for many couples. I have worked with nearly 100 couples and in addition to planning weddings, I have also worked in venue management and catering sales. This experience is extremely beneficial when it comes to contract negotiation and knowing the ins and outs of the industry.

I plan my vacations around coffee shops and book stores and will travel an extra hour to check one out.

Event Direction is often called "Day of Coordination."
At Say Yes Event Co. we believe in providing impeccable service and we would be remiss to lead any couple in believing that we could just show up on your wedding day and run your wedding.
You have put in hundreds of hours of work and we want to know about your event in as much detail as you do.
An Event Director helps couples put together the final wedding day timeline, makes final vendor confirmations, runs through the rehearsal, is on-site to greet your vendors, set up your decor, run your ceremony, and ensure that your wedding day is running exactly as you planned.
