I was ordained in 2013 through Universal Life Church and have been excited to be performing weddings ever since. My very first wedding was for my sister-in-law. We sat down a couple of weeks before her wedding to review wedding ceremonies. It was during that session that I learned that she anticipated 280 guests. Yes, 280 guests for my very first attempt at officiating but what I learned was just how much I enjoyed creating and performing that ceremony!
Rob has been a close family friend for over 15 years and showed interest in officiating since my first wedding. Rob is a retired Army Sergeant and a very good public speaker with a strong belief in his faith. I always knew that Rob would eventually join my team. Debbie and I have been friends for almost 10 years. We have worked together at several weddings, mostly with photography.

This service includes the filing of your license.
This service is available during off peak hours at a location near On The Spot Knot and will be determined based on calendar needs.
This is performed in Madison Heights after 4:30 p.m. and Saturday and Sunday mornings only.
A private ceremony with the bride, groom, your two witnesses and a few guests at a location of your choosing.
A telephone interview is typical to learn about you and your expectations in your ceremony and options from a couple of my standard ceremonies.

You must be at least 18 years of age to apply for a marriage application in Michigan.
Persons 16 and 17 years of age must show a certified copy of their birth certificate and have written consent of one parent or legal guardian, who must appear at the time of application with picture identification.
For the purpose of marriage application, residency is determined by a current valid driver's license or state I.D.: If you are a Michigan resident, you must apply in the county where you live.
If both parties are Michigan residents, you may apply in either county.
