On the Trolley, you can relax and enjoy the breathtaking sights of Ogunquit. In the summer of 1981 Molly Corp started the Trolley Route and ran 4 Trolleys through the streets of Ogunquit. Now we run 8 Trolleys and also do Trolley rentals for your special event. In 1923, the magnificent Marginal Way was given as a gift to the Town of Ogunquit by Josiah Chase of York.
It is now a paved footpath beginning (or ending) in a corner of Oarweed Cove near the harbor, then running for 1 miles to the marvelous expanse of Ogunquit Beach. Your Wedding day will be one of the most memorable and exciting day of your life! Our Wedding parties appreciate both the festive air that the Trolley brings to a Wedding and the wonderful personalities of our drivers who assist the Bridal Company Party and guests.
I, for one, love Trolleys and sure hope you do as well. As I always say. sure hope you enjoy the ride.

Services
Most people are surprised when they learn that Ogunquit is one of Maine's newest towns.
In 1913, Ogunquit was established as a village corporation within the Town of Wells.
The corporation was established as a quasi-municipal government after a dispute between Ogunquit and Wells citizens over whether or not to install streetlights in Ogunquit.
After 1913, Ogunquit assumed most of the characteristics and provided most of the services of a municipality.
In the ensuing months, there were negotiations between Wells and Ogunquit officials, discussions between lawyers for both parties and hearings with the legislative Local and County Government Committee.
