Alanna Hogan Photography
I'm here for the adventurous, free spirits who crave photographs that you can feel in your soul. If you're up for playing in the sand, wandering among the trees - heck, climbing a mountain - you're the kind of people I can't wait to meet. If you're not afraid to get your dress a little dirty or let the wind dance through your hair, I'd love to embrace the messiness with you.

And most importantly, if you appreciate real, raw imagery that you can feel deeply and are willing to be open + vulnerable to let your photographer in - we may be the perfect pairing. For intimate weddings, elopements, engagements + humans in love, you've come to the right place. I'm Alanna, a wedding photographer + New England native rooted in my favorite place: the southern coast of Maine.

I love love (but you knew that already). I find joy working with couples of all kinds, but my heart skips a beat for those laid-back, adventurous spirits with an appreciation for the outdoors and an eye for the little things when it comes to planning the big day.
Services
I feel the most grounded out in nature - roaming the coastline with salt air in my lungs, tackling a new mountain (I'm working on my NH 48 list), or strolling through downtown Portsmouth, New Hampshire.
I also love + appreciate solitary runs, indie folk music, endless cups of hot tea, vinyasa, and soft, directional light.
When it comes to my photos, my style is intimate, photojournalistic and organic with a fine art influence.
I appreciate little subtleties + in-between moments that tell the story of a love language with an artful eye, like a passing glance or the way fingertips effortlessly fold into the crevices of a partner's hand.
Your wedding day will come and go, and what's left of that legacy?
The decor is taken down, the dress is tucked gently away for a future generation perhaps, the flowers eventually wilt as they always do in their own time.
I'm here to bottle up those moments.
To help you relive the carefree emotions, the sounds + the sensations, long after they've passed.
Photographing humans in love is an intimate business, and I truly believe it's about more than the financial investment.
And honestly, it's about more than just the photos.
