If the bride and groom want to see each other ahead of time, allow 15-30 minutes for private time, and then another 2 hours approximately for the rest of the photographs with family and wedding party.
If the bride and groom don't want to see each other ahead of time, but still want to do pictures ahead of time, allow 2 hours ahead of the wedding and another 45 minutes to an hour afterwards.
