A Yankee in Savannah, I grew up in a suburb of Cleveland and went to Chicago for school. There I studied photography and started to develop my eye as a visual storyteller. My family has roots in Virginia, and the Shenandoah Valley, crowned by the breath and beauty of the Blue Ridge Mountains, is like a second home. I believe the best food in the world is a Chicago hot dog from a street cart in Wicker Park.
I believe that dogs are a man's best friend and my best friend is an Australian Shepherd mix named Molly. I believe that wanderlust is a wonderful and addictive, if expensive, habit. My camera is my passport into both the private and public moments that make up your big day.
