My superpower is being able to see your beauty the way the people who love you see you, and then capture it in awesome photos. No awkward posing or fake smiles required. Just goofy fun and bad jokes, and you being yourself. Though I'm based in Atlanta, it is my mission to photograph a wedding in every state. I've also got a wicked National Park landscape photography habit, so I always travel to weddings for free.

You can read all the details on my travel page.
Services
Wedding photography from Atlanta to Bar Harbor to Seattle to San Diego to Miami and all points in between.
No travel fees for any of it.
Why haven't you emailed me yet?
It's been nearly 12 years since I photographed my first wedding as the primary photographer.
In that time, I've photographed more than 200 weddings in places near and far, from Atlanta to Montana, Seattle to Santa Barbara, Maine to Miami, and even in other countries like Ireland, St. Lucia, and Jamaica.
There's only seven states where I haven't photographed a wedding.
Over the past ten years, I've had the chance to photograph many LGBTQ couples for family portraits, engagement sessions, and, of course, weddings.
The short version is that I label all the images and weddings on my blog so that non-traditional couples who need a wedding photographer can find me quickly and easily.
In these polarized-let's be honest, pretty much apocalyptic-times, there seem to be way too many people voicing loud, ignorant opinions about same sex marriage and LGBTQ rights.
People like your Trump-loving uncle who always says something racist at Thanksgiving, or the jerky asshats constantly spouting off on Fox News.
For most people, the what-for and why of wedding photography is pretty self-explanatory.
It's somewhat obvious to most couples why they should hire a photographer to document their wedding day.
But I get a lot of questions about engagement photography.
People want to know what's the big deal.
So I thought I'd take a minute and discuss with you why I think engagement photography is actually pretty darn important.
First, let's talk about your wedding day.
It's a big day.
You're having a once in a lifetime event.
You need a new family portrait.
You could go to some cheap portrait studio and get really cheap family photos that look like everyone else's really cheap family photos.
Family photos that are all posed and awkward in front of a cheesy pastoral backdrop, with everyone making their best fake smile.
But you don't want family photos that look like everyone else's.
You want creative family photography that shows who you are.
You don't want just good family photography, you want great family photography.
That's a picture of my grandmother that I took for my first photography class in college, and it's still one of the best photos I've ever made.
Not because it's technically perfect, but because it perfectly captures the way my grandmother always looked at me.
But every time I look at this photo, it grabs my heart and lets me travel back in time to relive a sweet moment with her that I might otherwise have forgotten.
That's what I get to do every day as a wedding photographer-make photos that you will look at later and remember THAT moment as clearly as if it was yesterday.
