I have always been a hopeless romantic. I love watching sappy cute love stories play out in both movies and in real life. Therefore, my goal as a photographer is to tell those stories and capture those sweet, joyful moments. I want each personality and relationship to come through in my photos. As I looked at my photos from my engagement session that Christa returned to us, I could not figure out what was so different about these photos than others that had been taken of us. I finally figured out that it was what Christa was capturing in each photo. Somehow, Christa managed to capture the exact way that my fiance and I feel when we look at each-other, which I had never seen before.

My photography journey started in elementary school when I bought a disposable camera every month and got my photos developed until I had enough money to buy my first digital camera.
From there I was typically put in charge of taking photos of events.
My freshman year of college, I found myself dreaming of shooting my first wedding.
I actually wrote on my bucket list, "Shoot one wedding in my lifetime."
Little did I know I would start my business and shoot two weddings in the same year.
I am now living my best life, photographing some of the most important days and moments in life.
From there I was typically put in charge of taking photos of events.

I'm sure looking at pricing is a daunting task, but I want to tell you why photography is worth the investment.
Photography is one of the ONLY things that will last more than a day.
The photos will be what you share with your children and your grandchildren.
The photos will be how others can relive the day or experience the day if they weren't able to attend.
The photography is worth the investment because it will live on.
What's the point of spending (however much) on the dress, the suit, the shoes, the florals, the venue, the decorations, if it isn't well documented?

Sometimes you need to be pumped up to feel confident in front of the camera, so I will gladly do that so you can relax and feel like yourself.
But don't worry, I don't just tell you to get in front of my camera and smile.
I love when my couples are willing to throw on their hiking boots or even go barefoot.

I want to focus on serving my current couples to the best of my ability, which I can only do if I take on less work.
But ALSO sometimes crazy weather makes for the BEST photos (the sun peaking through those rainy clouds or crazy winds or snow falling on your face), so if you're down to just roll with it.
I am too!
