The Country Abbey began in 2002 when Justin Baptist Church put its near century-old building up for sale.
Naomi Niederer of Argyle, TX purchased this historic property and repurposed it as a wedding and events venue.
Because of the compound-like setting of the chapel and outbuildings, Naomi was reminded of the European Abbeys of the 14th and 15th centuries, which were communities unto themselves, always with a chapel, dining hall, sleeping quarters, and gardens.
The Country Abbey offers exactly that.
