How you start your marriage matters. Take a step back from what's "traditional". Finding peace within *your* day is only established with refusing what other people deem a "proper wedding". You have to revaluate what your normal is and put yourself in a situation that is 100% true to you as a couple. When I see something that is not the same, that's what I go for.
When people say "that's the wrong way to go", I always want to see if I can pull it off. I take the same approach for your wedding day. After being a professional photographer over the years, you would think that I would grow jaded of weddings, right?! The reality is, I have seen and photographed it all, and the more that I shoot, the more that I fall in love with this job!
