As your wedding photographer, my job is to take notice of cheeks kissed, intimate looks exchanged, glasses cheered, eyes watering-and to do this all while keeping your timeline flowing, organizing family portraits, making sure you stay hydrated, absorbing the chaos, and being your calm. My priority as your photographer is to authentically tell the story of your wedding and keep you present while it's actually happening.

Beyond the scope of weddings, I believe in the power of photography to reach across our human barriers of language, convictions, and assumptions. Photographs tell honest stories in a way that opens minds and softens hearts. And isn't this what we need a little more of these days?. We are both somewhat awkward when taking photos but Hailey made the entire process flow seamlessly.

She directed us when we needed it (often), but also caught us in the most real moments. Hailey was so protective of our time on our wedding day. One of my bridesmaids noted how quickly she was able to take wedding party and family photos; it was one of the first weddings she'd been in where she didn't feel like taking pictures sucked time away from the day itself.
Services
I'm based out of Folsom, California and feel grateful every day to have mountains and beaches and vineyards within reach.
I've had a camera in hand since I was about 10 years old, photographing my sister, my pets, inanimate objects around the house.
I took 4 years of photography courses and then booked my first wedding when I was 19.
I knew nothing about posing, I shot in JPEG, and I delivered the images on a CD.
Rest assured, I've come a long way since then.
9 years of experience and hundreds of galleries later, I now shoot with the goal of emotive, cohesive, and timeless images.
Wedding photography should be, first and foremost, about the honest story of a couple's day.
Cheeks kissed, heirloom gifts exchanged, sweet words whispered.
For the most part I'll be in the background, documenting the day as it candidly unfolds.
When it comes time for portraits, I'll place you in the best light and ask you to squeeze close together; to hold each other as you would if no one else was around; to bring her face close to yours and to wrap your arms around his waist; to soak up these minutes alone before you're surrounded by celebration for the rest of the night.
Wedding collections start at $3,150; they are priced to fit anything from just the essentials to a full day's coverage with extras.
Where are you located?
I live just outside of Sacramento, but I consider the Bay Area and Tahoe to be "local" and shoot in all of these areas often.
How do I book my wedding?
You'll email me.
I'll send you all the details.
We'll grab drinks or meet via video.
You'll tell me all about yourselves and your wedding plans and ask me all the questions.
If you decide to book with me, we'll put together your collection and make it official with a signed agreement and 30% deposit.
