Weddings at Rixey Manor range from the intimate to the extravagant.
Our onsite coordinator will make sure each weekend is filled with relaxation, attention to detail, and most importantly.
We have a Guest Cottage which allows a private escape for the wedding party or somewhere quiet to give the younger guests a break.
Our chandelier-lit ballroom is perfect for indoor ceremonies (up to 200 guests), should you need a backup plan.
It's the perfect space for your reception (up to 120 guests), with tons of windows overlooking the Blue Ridge mountains.

Not only is it easily accessible from Washington D.C (60 miles), Charlottesville (45 miles), and Richmond (90 miles), but it has an Amtrack station who's line runs from Boston to Louisiana (including New York on the way).
For practical purposes it has a few great chain hotels (Best Western and Holiday Inn Express), as well as numerous bed and breakfasts, and a shuttle company that can run your guests back and forth.
