Interested in obtaining my services and four decades of experience for your "Big Day" or special event? Then the first step -- before anything else including price -- is determining my availability. Rick Rohn Disc Jockey Productions provides DJ/Master of Ceremonies services for weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties and corporate and special events.

We serve the three counties of West Virginia's Eastern Panhandle and the surrounding Maryland, Virginia & Pennsylvania "Four State" Region. You'll need more than just a quick glance to make the most of my site. There's LOTS of information here. If you're serious about making the investment to obtain my services though, the time required to thoroughly review all of this information will be well spent!

Hiring the right DJ to ensure your event's success can be a challenge. Most DJ's have access to pretty-much the same music. So in the end, your decision comes down to things like personality, experience, organization, enthusiasm, integrity, and dedication to doing the job right.

On the air at the University radio station WTSR, circa 1982 at Towson State University in Baltimore, MD.
A little background on the guy you're about to hire to help make your event a great success.
The FHA Sweetheart Dance.
My buddy Dave Williams and I spinning records and nervously doing our best to entertain our classmates.
My first time ever behind the mic, playing music in a room full of dancers.
While that was my first "live" DJ experience, my radio DJ career began a year earlier at WCST AM & FM in Berkeley Springs, WV doing station ID's and reading public service announcements during West Virginia University Football and Baltimore Orioles Baseball broadcasts.
Anniversary/Birthday Parties -- Next to weddings, these are perhaps my favorite events!
Not only do anniversaries/birthday events feature some of the same activities as weddings (introductions, toasts, cake cutting, lots of dancing, etc.), they also allow time for me to go among family and guests with my wireless mic (usually just after the meal) for them to share stories and reminiscences of and with our Guest(s) of Honor.
Clients tell me these "walks down memory lane" are among their most cherished parts of the celebration!
Nothing says "experience" like a Second Generation Wedding!
When planning your wedding or event, you're faced with many decisions.
One of the most important is, "Who do we put in charge of making certain that our event runs smoothly and that everyone has a great time?"
Professional DJ/MC's all have access to a fairly wide-variety of music, so success often comes down to other intangibles, all of which are critical to the success of any DJ/MC.
Experience -- On the day of your wedding or significant event, NOTHING is more important than having experience on your team.
When I look-out over the guests and attendees at the vast majority of events, I see folks of all ages and backgrounds, and - by extension - musical tastes.
You want your guests engaged, personally connected to your event, and sharing a common experience with those around them.
Music makes the party, and great sound - created by a crystal-clear, professional-grade audio system - is what makes that music.
Whether for a wedding, anniversary/birthday party, or company summer outing, the success of your event depends largely on assembling an experienced, talented, and cohesive "team" for the services and goods you need.
