If you've found us, you've likely found the love of your life, but you aren't in love with the idea of traveling deep into the mountains to find your dream mountain wedding venue. You might be looking for a space that doesn't seem to exist - one that is close to the city, but feels a million miles away. One that cherishes our majestic mountains and is committed to a small environmental footprint.
A venue that understands the true significance of a wedding day, and that cares as much as you do about the success of your day. We are North Star Gatherings - one of the newest wedding and event venues to come to the Rocky Mountain foothills. We value sharing our unique location with couples who want a stunning wedding without being held hostage to ski town prices and long trips in traffic.

Services
We are Evin and Barry Urban.
We met at Penn State and got married at Evin's mother's beautiful property, Blue Moon Rising on Deep Creek Lake, MD.
The day was so magical and perfect, our guests have been telling us for years that it was the best wedding they have ever attended.
After moving to Denver, we fell in love with the mountains and decided we could spread the magic of our wedding day by starting our own venue.
We hope to share our passion for connecting with people and nature by providing a magical and unique space for you to gather with loved ones.

The shorter way from Idaho Springs is windy and for confident mountain drivers.
The easier way through Evergreen takes about 10 minutes longer.
Whatever you do, don't let the GPS fool you into taking Old Little Bear Creek Rd (155).
It's just a jeep trail and the forest service road that somewhat connects it to the property is not really drive-able.
