My first wedding of the season and I woke up to a snowy March morning. No one could have ever guessed that most of the country would soon be under quarantine - and I know Elizabeth, Sam and their families are so grateful that the event went on as planned early last month.
It was my first time shooting a wedding at the Old Capitol Museum in Iowa City and it did not disappoint - great interiors and architecture - and some classic Iowa City outdoor shots (a wedding party that was game to stand outside in some chilly weather!)It's always a treat for me to photography weddings and families whom I've known for years - I photographed Elizabeth and her brother when they were both seniors in high school - and also their mom, Dawn's wedding in 2018.
I am a believer that photography is a priceless gift of moments frozen in time. Small Wonders has captured these moments for our family, extended family, friends, and business. The images they capture are a reflection of their passion and emotion for their work.
