But even with all the excitement, I felt like there was something missing.
And there was.
My mother passed away from cancer in 2005.
I was so young.
She didn't see me graduate college or have a baby.
Now, she wasn't going to see me get married.
Thanks to Pinterest, the idea of having a portrait of my mother to memorialize her was something I deeply wanted.
I know what you are thinking, how?! Being so young I had my older brother keep all the photos of her.
I knew I wasn't at my forever home and was so nervous about loosing her portraits.
