Rev. Francis B. Morse Jr. started The Caroline Wedding Chapel in 1991 after honorably serving his country in the US. Army and as the assistant minister at The First Baptist Church in New Bedford, MA. His love and devotion for his family, country, and the people in the surrounding community are evident in how The Caroline Chapel continues to serve the South Coast area.
After his passing in April of 2019, Reverend Morse' daughter Daune Elizabeth Lowney continues his grace-filled ministry that he started 35 years ago. She has served alongside her dad since the start of the Chapel. Together they have over 60 years of experience performing weddings and religious services. The Caroline Wedding Chapel is a wonderful, and family-orientated, traditionally run, wedding Chapel in the heart of New Bedford, Massachusetts.
Over the years of service, both Reverend Morse and Daune, have presided over hundreds of weddings. From performing weddings at their Caroline Street Chapel to many different venues such as; Mobile weddings, Motorcycle, hot air balloons, and many other off-site places.
