Open Door Ministries was founded in 1981 by Christopher Rollings, an ordained minister.
In 1985, after graduating from Trinity Theological Seminary in Newburgh, Indiana, he founded a nondenominational church in Bound Brook, New Jersey and began providing personalized, life-event ceremonies to couples who are looking for nondenominational, interfaith, multilingual or an unusual type of ceremony.

Michael is a graduate of Indiana University, Bloomington, Indiana with degrees of Bachelor of Music Education and Master of Music.
He is currently retired from professional music, having sung in the Metropoitan Opera for ten years.
I have thoroughly enjoyed working for Creative Weddings for the past 5 years as a wedding officiant.
Having been a performing singer and classroom teacher all my life, I welcome the opportunity to meet new people and help them create something special for their wedding ceremony.

Our wedding officiants are available during the day and evening, and we are more than happy to accommodate weddings with short notice.

If the bride is from out of state, apply in the groom's town.
If both the bride & groom are both from out of state (nonresidents), then apply in the town where you plan to marry.
When should we apply for a marriage license?
The registrar will need at least 72 hours to process you marriage application.
The fee is $28, payable in cash or money order at the time of application; some towns may accept personal checks.
