Whether I officiate your Cape Cod wedding, write your personal vows, or both, I will help make your wedding ceremony one to remember. I'll work with you to create a personalized ceremony by sending a brief questionnaire to get to know you as a couple. I am happy to attend your rehearsal and also offer post-ceremony photography to capture your special memories.
I'll turn your feelings and memories into a perfectly articulated expression of some of the most important words of your life. I can write marriage proposals, wedding speeches, bio pages, and custom ceremonies to be delivered by a friend or family member. After sixteen years of being an innkeeper and coordinating countless weddings, I decided to focus my energy on officiating weddings and writing personal vows which also affords me the freedom to spend time with our five children who keep us very busy!
I have been in the wedding business since 2003, and was appointed as a Justice of the Peace in Massachusetts in 2014. Since then, I have officiated over 500 wedding ceremonies.

Services
I was born and raised in New Jersey, but have lived on Cape Cod since 2003 and can't imagine living anywhere else.
My husband, James and I were high school sweethearts and have been "dating" since I was fourteen.
We were married in 2001 at the Captain Linnell House in Orleans, MA and have owned two inns in Chatham.

I have been officiating weddings since 2014 and every single wedding I have written and officiated is different.
Each couple is different.
It is important for me to get to know your history as a couple, your hopes for the future, and the style of wedding you envision.
I will have you fill out a brief questionnaire to get the ball rolling and once I have a draft prepared, you can review it and we can make as many edits as you wish.
I am very comfortable working with same-sex marriages as well as different cultural and religious backgrounds.

When I officiate your wedding or vow renewal, I work with you to create a personalized ceremony by sending a brief questionnaire to get to know you as a couple.
From there, I send a draft which we can adjust until you are completely satisfied with your custom ceremony.
While I am not a professional photographer, I have been capturing the highlights of intimate weddings for over sixteen years.
If you want some shots of your special day, but don't want to pay a lot, allow me to snap away with my SLR camera.

According to Massachusetts law, you must jointly file intentions to marry with the city or town clerk in any community in the state.
The filing cost ranges from $4.00 to $50.00 depending on the town in which you file.
You must obtain a waiver from a court in which case you may marry the day after applying for your marriage license.
The cost to do this is $195 and you will need to fill out a Marriage Without Delay form.
Keep in mind that courts are only open on week days so if you apply on a Friday, you must obtain your waiver and return to the town hall with the waiver before town hall closes for the day.

I wrote the following vows from Nathan to Kristen.
It was important for them to write personal vows to each other.
Kristen was very comfortable with penning her feelings to paper, but Nathan felt he couldn't quite articulate the intensity of his feelings.
He filled out my questionnaire which is designed to dig deep and gain insight about small, yet significant details about a couple's relationship.
These are the vows that, with Nathan's input, I came up with for him.
According to Nathan and Kristen, there wasn't a dry eye in the crowd.
