My passion and love of music began after graduating from Madera High School in 1963.
My dad told me if I learned to play his electric guitar I could have it, and the rest is history.
Within a year I started a rock band named The Eastgates.
Over the next 6 years we built a reputation as one of the top cover bands in the Greater Fresno/Central Valley area, playing every major venue of those days and shared the stage with many top recording artist; Van Marrison, The Young Rascals, The Turtles and The Grassroots, to name a few.
