Marx Event Group, formerly Chris Marx Events, is the result of 25 years in the industry. We bring to the table what no other Wedding Entertainment company can - experience, technology, and talent. Our DJs have been trained to mimic Chris' style, while adding their own flair to the mix. We have ongoing training and are proud to say that we have created thousands of one-of-a-kind moments with couples like you.

To set myself apart from other DJs in the area, I regularly attend MC/DJ seminars across the country, have set the bar HIGH for myself and my staff, and am one of the founders of a large DJ forum on Facebook. When I'm not in front of wedding guests, I am the father of two awesome kids, Holly and Colin, and I am the husband of my supportive and gorgeous wife, Jodi.

We are not about props or line dances, however, we are about your guests having a great time (and a little dancing never hurts).
Although we will choose some songs in advance based on your liking, our style usually depends on your family and friends' response.
Our music flow is ever-changing, from one genre to another, seamlessly.

We're not into bright strobing dots on your guests, or turning your event into a nightclub (unless you want us to); we simply will enhance your venue's natural beauty and highlight it's architecture and your dance floor.

No lighting will be used during your first dance (your photographer will appreciate that).
Wash lighting creates a non-intrusive dance mood, and is included with almost every wedding!
Our low-lying theatrical fog will complement your formal dances, and your photographers will love it!
