Nancy Pikulik started her music career at the age of 8 years on organ, then piano.
She attended the Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of the Performing Arts in New York City, New York with an emphasis on piano study.
During her high school years, Nancy was accepted and attended the Preparatory Division of the Manhattan School of Music for piano study, also in New York City.
She graduated from Manhattan School of Music, New York City, New York, with a Bachelor of Music in Performance (Piano) and a Master of Music in Music Education.

Music has always been a focus in my life.
Because music represents so much that is good for our lives, my goals for my students are not just to become musicians and advance with musicality and technical proficiency, but to love music for how it enriches our lives and to carry this love throughout their lives.
Although my background was strictly classical, I understand that the goals of my students might not focus around the classics.
I believe that a classical background is very necessary for a proper education in music; but the addition of other types of music may be the best way to reach students of different ages.
