I am a wedding photographer who lives in Blacksburg, Virginia, but I have also photographed weddings in Charlotte and Asheville, North Carolina; Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; and all over the Southwestern Virginia area including Richmond, Roanoke, Salem, Vinton, Galax, and Floyd. So a little bit of history, I have been taking photos for as long as I can remember - I have a shoebox filled with photos of the sky, pets, family, and friends as far back as when I was 5 years old with a little plastic film camera in my hand (maybe even further). I am mostly a self-taught photographer, but I also enrolled at a few photography courses at a local community college to learn how to work in the darkroom and utilize Photoshop for editing.
I photographed my first wedding in 2008 for a long time friend and LOVED it so much I kept at it and ended up turning it into a wedding and portrait photography business! I think it can be hard to put a label on my style, I would call it organic or pure.
