I stumbled into the event industry fresh out of high school while pursuing a degree in journalism and studying business at Texas State University.
Realizing writing wasn't going to pay the bills and falling in love with the fast-paced, stimulating and invigorating environment that is the event world, I quickly decided to alter career paths.
I've done it all, from working my way around the catering scene, starting as a bartender and server, crossing over into the kitchen and eventually management and sales.
