Christina Banman fell into the event industry in 2015 when she decided to take a chance and leave the world of real estate. Her journey began with an internship with an international event producer, Erika Lohmar, thanks to her alma mater of Cal Lutheran University. She then transitioned into a position as a full time planner with Along Came Mary Events whom she continues to freelance produce large corporate events for clients such as Hallmark, Fox and Hulu.
This has provided her a wide scope of experience in the industry. With her passion for food and entertaining, weddings and events was the perfect fit for her. She was raised on an avocado orchard in Santa Paula and grew up helping farm her families properties in Texas and Washington state. She frequents the farmers market as a way to stay connected with the local farm community.
Food is one of the many elements in an event that can help bring people together and spark engaging conversations. Communal feasting tables, family style eating and warm summer nights under market lights are some of her favorite things.
