I attended Fitchburg State College and received a Bachelor of Science in the Communications Department. After College I went and worked for commercial photographer Patrick O'Connor in Worcester and learned everything I could about Lighting, portraiture and running a professional photography business. It was an even better education than college. I learned so much!
Our daughter Stella was born in San Francisco and right after she was born we started thinking about moving back to Massachusetts to be closer to both our families. Although we loved Northern California so much it was important to us to be closer to our families. We settled in a cool little town in Western Mass and I now travel from The Berkshires to Boston and everywhere in between photographing weddings and portraits for really cool people.
It's a great job. I combined a mix of wedding photojournalism with creative portraiture to provide a set of images from the wedding day that tells a complete story. I approach the wedding day with a quiet and calm presence.
