The definition of a professional DJ, he guides you through your day (before and during) with ease and expertise. His craft doesn't shine just on the wedding day. It's throughout the wedding planning process. He's flexible in meeting with clients and takes great care in making sure the big day is just right. From tips that we greatly benefited from to a detailed sketch of the schedule of the day of, we can look back on our wedding with Mark being an indispensable piece of it all.

Character and professionalism aside, Mark also has state-of-the-art equipment and excellent feel for what the dance floor needs. Nearly every guest we talked to afterward brought up and raved about how excellent the music / dancing was.

Ask about Grapevine's Lantern Speakers that can create a "surround sound" experience for your guests.
All music and vows can be heard through these decorative lantern speakers.
Make sure the DJ who will be at your event will meet with you and your fiance to get to know you before you make the decision to hire him or her.
Your DJ should meet with you a second time to help you create a detailed time-line of events that ensures things run smoothly.
Organization is the #1 KEY ingredient to a successful wedding reception.
Communication is #2.
Make sure your DJ is proactive and does not wait to be told what to do.
He should quietly and unassumingly take the lead to ensure all the pieces fall into place.
The bride (and groom) might be the center of attention, but the dance floor's the center of the party.
If you hide it around a corner, in a separate room, or at the very end of a long hall, it's going to be difficult to pack it.
Also, guests might miss or feel left out of traditions that usually happen on the dance floor, like the cake cutting and bouquet toss.
Easy access to a central dance floor makes for a much more involved crowd.
Consult dance floor sizing charts, and don't let your venue convince you that bigger is better.
Music and announcements are "broadcast" from my main system to as many of the radios as you like.
The radios have been retrofitted with quality speakers and an internal receiver - They are also completely battery powered so there are no wires!
The third and fourth videos shows the radios used as speakers for an outdoor wedding ceremony and used as remote speakers for a garden outdoor wedding.
