Just 15 mins from downtown Austin, in Buda Tx, The Carrington is a unique and historical boutique wedding & event venue. As a wedding photographer, I'm always looking for the perfect place for a bride's portraits in her gown. The Carrington is a total gem hidden away just a short drive south of Downtown Austin proper. The space has tons of character and it was so easy to work with the staff at the venue to coordinate an on-site photo session.
It's the perfect mix of elegance, New Orleans crumbly wall chic, and has an upstairs with several rooms bathed in wonderful natural light. Cari at The Carrington made my daughter's wedding day perfect. She has my sincerest thanks for all she did from helping us line up vendors to climbing an extremely tall ladder to decorate. The venue itself is amazing and made the perfect backdrop for all the pictures.
