Established in Northern California in 1984, Vintage Carriage company is family-owned and operated by Leilani Gibbons-Elledge, Tommy Elledge, and Nickolena Van Tuyl.
For over 35 years it has been our pleasure and honor to bring a touch of fancy and elegance to more than 100 weddings and special events a year.
Whether a grand entrances with a Cinderella carriage, a quiet after ceremony ride through the vineyards of Napa and Sonoma for the wedding couple, or the joyful pandemonium of the groom's procession for a South Asian wedding we have excelled in providing the best in horse-drawn transportation.

The limousine of the 1880's the Vis-a-Vis is an easy entry low slung carriage seating the passengers face to face (vis-a-vis).
A coachman driven carriage the Vis-a-Vis can accommodate four to six passengers with the driver (coachman) and groom/footman (drivers assistant).
We have carriages in three colors, white, dark green and blue, for you to choose from.
Our white Vis-a-Vis comes with your choice of upholstery - Kelly Green or Ruby Red.
The carriage with Ruby Red velvet upholstery has natural wood fenders and wheels which sparkle in the sunlight like gold.

Vintage Carriage Company has been privileged to participate in South Asian weddings since 1993 and we are pleased to be able to offer to you a white horse for your Baraat.
The horse will be decorated with an authentic costume imported from India.
Our horses have participated in many baraats and are not frightened by the music, drums, dancing or singing.

Due to the many elements involved, your quote will be customized to your needs.
Your 2 hours are counted as follows - you give me a start time of say 4:00 pm, we are there ready to start no later than 3:55 pm.
At 4:00 pm the clock on the 2 hours starts and runs till 6:00 pm.
If your use ( when you or any member of the wedding party boards the carriage or pictures with your photographer begin or the groom gets on the horse) starts at say 4:30 pm we are already 30 minutes into the 2 hour block, if you start as late as 5:30 pm we are 1 hour 30 minutes in to your 2 hours.
