Although we host many weddings throughout the year, we know for you this is YOUR wedding day and we treat each wedding we host as if it were our only wedding of the year, because for you it is. As a family business you are assured of excellent and personal customer service from our initial contact with you throughout the planning and of course your rehearsal night and wedding day.

We believe you should be able to have your wedding reflect your unique love and personality and we will happily work with you to accomplish this. Our building was constructed in 1903 as the First Congregational Church and is considered an historic site in Grand Ledge. The pews in our chapel were hand-crafted in 1891 and add to the timeless feel of the chapel.

In early 2006, after purchasing the building, the Holmes family began an enormous restoration project renovating the building to better than new - keeping the best of the old and historic (original stain glass, woodwork and organ pipes) while upgrading the comfort features such as new electrical, plumbing and bathrooms, new flooring, and central air and heat.
Services
The Bridge Street Wedding Chapel LLC is located in what was once the First Congregational Church built in 1903 on the north shore of the Grand River in Grand Ledge, Michigan.
It is the second oldest church building in town.
Located across the river and within easy walking distance from the Grand Ledge Opera House, a popular wedding reception venue, it's easy to see why so many brides consider the Bridge Street Wedding Chapel a perfect location for their wedding.
This is also one of the reasons Grand Ledge is quickly becoming a destination wedding location for those who want a small town feel with classic elegance.
We are so thankful that we were able to have our wedding ceremony at the Bridge Street Wedding Chapel.
Living out of state, it was difficult to coordinate with our former churches' schedules (as well as comply with their marriage class requirements being so far away) and were not having luck with the MSU Alumni Chapel (home football games preclude any ceremonies).
Luckily, we found the Bridge Street Chapel in Grand Ledge.
It has been recently renovated by a husband-wife photographer team and they have done a spectacular job.
At Bridge Street Wedding Chapel we are very proud of our chapel and even more proud to have happy customers pleased with the events we have hosted.

Everything was amazing.
Chris and Mary honored all of our request including changing our rehearsal time at the last minute.
I cannot say enough nice things about the gorgeous venue but what's even better than the beauty of the chapel- the amazing owners!
There are 4 nearby parking lots as well as a brand new 50-car lot one block away (Behind the business's across the street on Bridge St.).
Also there is free street parking all around within one block of the chapel.
For each couple who rents the chapel they receive a free extra hour during the week before the wedding for a rehearsal.
We will have a chapel representative there to play your music or help you pick your music if you haven't yet.
If you are bringing in a musician we will still have a representative to help you with questions and to help guide you through what works best.
