Focus on the Bride is a full service event planning company specializing in weddings. Focus on the Bride has done everything from engagement parties, bridal & baby showers, Theme parties and many other events. Mercal, who is the owner of Focus on the Bride, was born and raised in New York and that is where her business has started. When she got married in 2008, almost 6 months later her and her husband had decided to move to California.
Now she is based in the Los Angeles County. Mercal has always been interested in fashion since an early age. Looking back she was sketching and creating new looks for her Barbie dolls. Growing up whenever her parents were invited to a wedding, she always asked to go to the church just to take a glance at what the bride and bridesmaids were wearing.
Mercal graduated with a Fashion Design Degree. In school her final exam was to design, and sew a wedding gown. That's when she knew that was her destiny, too create, magic for her clients. Since graduating and started her career, she was fortunate to work with an amazing group of people who influenced and encouraged her to be innovative and creative in all aspects of making her clients day, the magical moment that they would always remember.

We ask you to bring at least one other person with you to put your mind at ease.
On the last fitting we highly suggest you to bring the person who would be in charge of bustling your bridal gown.
