I'm Elizabeth Adams, a Northern California wedding & portrait photographer based in the Sacramento area. Photography for me started as a hobby & high school elective in the late 90's when actual film & darkrooms were used to develop pictures. For as long as I can remember I've always enjoyed the creative process of photographing people, nature, ordinary objects & life in general.
I fell in love with wedding photography after I shot my first wedding & realized just how important my role was. I get the privilege of going both behind the scenes and front row for one of the most special and intimate days in two people's lives. I'm honored to be entrusted with documenting my clients' moments; the tears, the laughter and the joy for them to relive and share over and over again.

Yes, the 1-2 hours before sunset and the 1-2 hours after sunrise are the best times to shoot.
You'll get the most amazing warm, glowing light during these times.
What can I expect at my photoshoot?
Although my galleries may look dreamy as if shot in the perfect conditions, shooting on location outdoors is anything BUT glamorous.
Sometimes conditions are perfect and other times, they aren't always ideal.
You can expect that it could either be hot, cold, or windy on the day of your shoot.
Insects and itchy grass just come with the territory.
