My purpose is to deeply experience human connection. For me, this means spending time with those I love, bringing people together, and capturing the meaningful relationships you have with yourself and with others the best way I know how, through my photographs. I feel the most inspired being surrounded by nature with good people, gleaming golden light, deep shadows, some toe-tappin' music, and a really good outfit.

You'll find me photographing weddings/elopements, portraits, and working with businesses on brand images. I'll document your personality and style without trying to fit you into a mold, and I'll snag those little moments you may not have known even existed. My clients refer to me as "quirky, relatable, calming, and inspiring." They appreciate my relaxed demeanor, passion, and how I treat them like old friends.

When we shoot together you won't have to worry about where to put your hands or what to do next because I got you. You can trust that I will give you my absolute best.

This is honestly one of my favorite family sessions I've ever done.
The weather, lighting, and location was perfect and so is this family!
Sweet little Rylan had recently gotten a toy camera so he was VERY interested in what I was doing and was such a cute ham haha.
The Demoskoff's have so much love between them and I love how they interact so playfully with each other.
Get ready to burst from the cuteness!
Mattie is amazing!
I've done some brand photos with her for my business and she did family photos for my son's 1st birthday.
This was my first time shooting at The Evergreen here in Portland and it was so dreamy.
We had a moody day with tons of rain but it did not leave us feeling cramped for space or photo spots.
You have the option of renting out Loyal Legion which is the bar next door for awhile for photos and beverages and let me tell you, it was a great addition.
It was really beautiful to see the way that Karl's Chinese heritage was honored during their day.
Preslie surprised him with a traditional Chinese Lion Dance near the end of their night and everyone's jaw dropped, it was so powerful to witness.
The Paisan't are absolutely some of my favorite humans to photograph.
The first time we worked together was years ago when I shot Lauren and Sean's wedding in his home town of New Orleans.
From there I have had the pleasure of taking their maternity photos for their daughter Margot and many family photos since.
They were guests at my wedding and I am just beyond grateful Lauren walked into the bar I was working at many years ago now and that we got to talking about how she needed a Photographer for her wedding.
Wowwww this is one of my favorite engagement shoots ever.
All of our original plans went to hell because tweaked my lower back/hip a few days before our shoot and wasn't going to be able to hike to the spot we had planned.
Nicholas and Krissa were ANGELS and just rolled with the punches.
We ended up driving to the top of Mount Baker, trekking around the snow, and avoiding snowboarders whizzing by.
I was worried this session wouldn't be as epic as they would have been with the original idea, but we all LOVE the final images and are so glad it turned out this way!
You all LOVE when I share Audrey and Justin photos and I don't blame you.
Their giddy and silly energy together is such fun to shoot and I honestly wish I could shoot it over and over again.
These two decided to make The Society Hotel in Bingen, WA their home-base for their elopement weekend.
We had plans to adventure around and shoot in different parts of town, but they decided they wanted to drink champagne, say their vows, and keep it simple around the hotel and it was perfect.
Working with Mattie was incredible!
