Starting at a very young age, Chef Marcel has had a deep love and appreciation for food.
Born in Brazil yet raised in Queens, New York, Marcel Cocit starting cooking with his Romanian mother and Italian/Spanish father.
From age five, he started dabbling in the kitchen as they cooked family favorites and knew right away that this was his calling.
Learning to cook with his parents as well as several culinary arts classes have only deepened the love Chef Marcel has for all things culinary.
He is a graduate of New York Restaurant School and has a certificate in Culinary Arts.
