One of the South's finest venues for weddings, receptions, banquets, and other special events. We are excited to have completed extensive renovations begun in 2017 and to have the Hall open again to serve as a host for your special event. South Carolina Society Hall was designed by Gabriel Manigault and built between 1799 and 1804. The portico, designed by Frederick Wesner, was added in 1825.
It is regarded as one of the most historic and beautiful buildings in the nation. Use this to use auto-play feature, check out floor plans, and even take measurements. You will also see colored pushpins throughout the tour which pop-up with additional info about the Hall when selected. We hope you enjoy the tour!. If you have questions or want to discuss making a reservation for your event, please CONTACT US.

Services
You are free to choose your own professional vendors for your event, but we highly recommend the professionals on our PREFERRED VENDOR LIST.
Professional event planners are not required but are highly suggested.
At the very least, there needs to be a single contact person for your event to coordinate details with our hallkeeper and with any event support staff.
We recommend DJs or smaller bands for most events, but we can accommodate large bands with proper planning.
There is no on-site parking for guests, but parking here is not a problem.
