Woodrow Hall
Originally built in 1914 by the Free Masons, and served as their meeting place for much of the last century before it was purchased by the current owners, whose mission is to restore historic buildings in Birmingham. Woodrow Hall offers a large foyer and beautiful banquet hall with exposed brick, high ceilings with huge wooden beams as well as modern amenities such as plasma screen TV, LCD projector and modern lighting.

This remarkable reception venue is full of unique architecture, character and warmth. It offers a timeless location for parties, reunions, corporate events and training programs. In addition, Woodrow Hall offers very spacious VIP rooms, perfect for bridal parties or event sponsors.

Woodrow Hall was built by the Free Masons in 1914.
This historic building served as their meeting place for much of the last century.
The earliest reference to the Masons dated back to about 1390 AD.
The Masons practiced philanthropy throughout this historic Woodlawn community and other surrounding areas.
This building fell into disrepair for numerous decades before being renovated in 2009 by Community Property Development, a family owned business whose mission is to restore historic buildings in Birmingham.
The Magnolia Room at Woodrow Hall is our latest restoration.
Located on the second floor of the historic Masonic Lodge in NE Birmingham at 5504 1st Avenue North, it is perfect for events with up to about 100 guests.
It has the same vintage feel with high ceilings, great lighting, shiny 100 year old floors, large beams and century old woodwork.
Hand-made custom window treatments highlight the windows.
In addition, we have furnished it with hand made wooden "antique" tables and chairs.

Woodrow Hall's Compass Ballroom is located on the third floor of this historic Birmingham treasure.
Built in 1914, this building underwent extensive restoration over a 2 year period which restored its vintage charm with added modern touches.
This floor will accommodate up to 200 seated, overall with both floors included, this building can host up to 300/400 guest!
With it's high ceilings, great natural lighting, shiny 100 year old floors, large beams, century old woodwork, and hand-made custom window treatments that highlight the windows.
