Amy Van Hulzen has been planning special events for over 14 years in the Mobile, AL region. She comes to us from Naman's Catering where she worked with clients, venues and vendors all over the Alabama and Mississippi Gulf Coast regions planning weddings and special events. With hundreds of events under her belt, Amy brought her talents to the Ezell House and has called 407 Conti Street home for close to 5 years.

Amy understands the behind-the-scenes needs of a successful event, and she brings valuable experience to our clients at the Ezell House. As our lead House Attendant, Jade Davis, has spent countless hours assisting clients on the day of their special event. Jade's goal is to help keep you stress free on your event day and will ensure your vendors are setting up as planned.

Jade has been a member of our team for four years now and is an incredible liaison between the Ezell House and our clients. She's not THAT Miranda Lambert, but she's just as special to us here at the Ezell House.
Services
The second-floor library and bridal changing room are available for the bridal party or event coordinators, and the Carriage House Apartment is available for our groomsmen.
Friday, Saturday, and Sunday wedding rentals have use of the house for ten (10) hours, with all music concluding by 12:30am.
To reserve the Ezell House for your special event, a non-refundable security deposit in the amount of half of the rental rate is required with the remaining balance due 30 days prior to your event.
Cash, Check, American Express, Discover, Visa and MasterCard are accepted; however, please note that there is a 3.5% credit card fee added to all credit card transactions.
Availability calendars are updated weekly; however, some reserved and/or saved dates may not be reflected.

If you wish to "save" a date, please let us know and you will then have 14 days to place your deposit which guarantees the date for you.
Many events will also rent tall Bistro tables (with or without chairs) for the back porch and you can comfortably fit 4-5 Bistro tables in this area.
These tables require 120" round cloths or 132" round cloths with sashes if you like the "martini glass" shape.
Notes: The courtyard extension is typically used for the DJ or Band and the dance area is 37' x 48'.
Additional lighting is needed if this area will be used.
A 30'x45' tent can be put on "rain-reserve" for inclement/cold weather for the courtyard extension as well as additional 20'x20' tents to cover the courtyard.
The Ezell House does not require you to hire specific vendors for your event.
We can certainly recommend vendors to suit your needs, but you are not required to use any one specific vendor.
We do suggest you find vendors that fit both your personality and your budget, but also remember to select a vendor that will make your event day as easy as possible.

Located to the left of the entry hall, the room boasts a magnificent plaster arch embellished with a bas relief of the heads of Robert E. Lee and Stonewall Jackson.
