I'm a Santa Barbara, CA based calligrapher and graphic designer (but you probably already figured that out).
My first calligraphy class ever was in college (I was a graphic design major, and it was part of my typography course) and not only was I terrible, but being left handed made it almost impossible for me to do it correctly, so I left the class feeling so disappointed that I would never be able to do calligraphy!
Happily though, a few years later I found pointed pen calligraphy, which is different from the italic calligraphy I learned in college, and completely lefty friendly.

I just need you to approve the final version of your proposal a month before your wedding day, so I have plenty of time to create your items!
