The above video was taken last year on Easter Sunday in Old Town San Diego where I asked my long-time girlfriend of six years to marry me (Corissa).
It was such a rad day and a great moment for me.
I am the type of guy who really never gets nervous, but that day I was struggling quite a bit keeping it together in anticipation of the proposal.
Thankfully, a couple of margaritas and shots of Patron helped numb the senses without causing me to lose my ninja-like focus and cat-like reflexes.
C If you are going to give me the opportunity to document such a personal moment in your life, the least I can do is share with you such a personal moment in mine.
Weddings are so freaking awesome, but if there is one drawback on your wedding day it is most certainly going to be the gut-punch of the investment.
Flowers, catering, venues, chairs, tables, drinks, music, and every little detail has a cost and sometimes the investment can be significant.
The whole wedding planning process might even make you want to crack open a bottle of wine, then another bottle of wine, then some IPAs and then wash it all down with a shot of Jameson until you finally give up, put your wedding dress on eBay and invest in an endless amount of neutral-colored sweat pants.
So he finally popped the big question and now you're about to get married!
CONGRATS!
Now that you have told your family the amazing news, posted an image of the engagement ring on Instagram to make all of your single girlfriends jealous, set a wedding date and found your awesome wedding photographer, the next step is setting up an engagement shoot so you can get those save the dates in the mail ASAP.
As a wedding photographer in Temecula, I want nothing more than to give my brides and grooms the type of engagement photos that will be f***ing awesome.
There are only a handful of moments in a person's life that are truly beyond precious and need to be documented.
A couple's wedding day is certainly one of those events and that is why the couple investing thousands of dollars in wedding photography should be prepared to do a little research.
For example, investing a large sum of money into wedding photography doesn't necessarily mean a bride and groom are guaranteed to receive awesome wedding photos.
As a wedding photographer located in Temecula wine country, my goal is to give my clients the information necessary to help them get the raddest possible images from their wedding.
Life can move at a lightning-fast pace sometimes, and as the father, to a 2-year-old son and 4-year-old daughter, I can see that hourglass sand moving too quickly every single day.
As a wedding photographer in Temecula, I have photographed over 300+ weddings throughout the country from Palm Springs, Chicago, San Diego, Miami and all over the place.
As much as I LOVE shooting weddings, since I had my children I have found an equal passion for photographing families.
The reason is that I understand how quickly a baby girl in love with her Elmo stuffed toy can turn into an inquisitive little lady who now loves Elsa dolls and Fancy Nancy toys.
