Lerina Winter Photo

Lerina Winter is a visionary photographer and artist. Born and raised in the Southwest by entrepreneurial, art-collecting parents and the product of a Waldorf education, she's been inspired by the act of creativity her whole life. In 2008 she moved from the wide, open plains of New Mexico to the California coast, where she's since established her second home.

She briefly attended Maryland Institute College of Art, but parted from formal education to follow her vision of starting her very own venture back on the West Coast. She established herself professionally as a photographer at the age of 17 under her former business name, Winter Creative Co., and since then has been behind the camera at countless occasions, both formal and informal, ranging from weddings and dinner parties to art gallery openings and concerts.

She has captured couples and families, yoga teachers and wellness professionals, as well as the products and people behind numerous companies. Her work has been published and featured by Conde Nast Traveler, SELF Magazine, Green Wedding Shoes, Wedding Chicks, Conscious Lifestyle Magazine, VoyageLA, Specialty Food Magazine, Santa Barbara Independent, and more.
