History: Madison Taxi was started in 1986 with a simple philosophy: The people of a fine city like Madison deserved nice, clean, newer taxis and safe, professional drivers.

With that -and a beginning fleet of just four pristine vehicles- co-founder and company president Joe Brekke began his diligent quest to provide this city with precisely that plan.
Today -with an ever growing fleet of 55 vehicles and a staff of 130- the philosophy remains the same: Ongoing respect and appreciation for our customers and a passion for getting them to their destinations comfortably and on time via nice, clean, newer-model vehicles and a solid team of safe and professional drivers.
