Daniel James Photography is a Wedding Photography studio based in Monterey, California just north of Big Sur on the Central Coast of California. My images have been described as candid, emotional, timeless, and real. I love making real connections with my couples and bringing out their personalities in my portraits. My photography evokes feelings of genuine love and affection, and not some overused pose that is currently popular on Pinterest.
I will create images that tell the story of your wedding day in the best way possible. I fell in love with the work that he has done. I've always been very "camera shy" as they say, and not very fond of getting photos done for myself. With Daniel, I did not feel awkward or flimsy in front of the camera. Not only are you hiring a talented photographer but a hype man during your session.

Elopements are typically 1 to 3-hour sessions that include getting ready, ceremony coverage, and couples portraits after the ceremony on site.

From mini sessions to surprise proposals, we capture the perfect photos for your save the dates, wedding website, and social media.
I deliver between 50-100 high-quality image files per hour of coverage.
You will receive these via an online viewing album from where you can download, print, and share.
A total of 7 years.
