Housed in a gorgeously refurbished historic building, the Walnut House is here to provide you with an incredible event experience. We've hosted hundreds of weddings, corporate and music events, and can help you create the perfect environment for your event. Whether you need a banquet hall for your wedding, reception, conference, concert, fundraiser or any other special event, the Walnut House can accommodate up to 160 guests with banquet tables and a dance floor.
We can also host up to 240 guests with theater seating for meetings or conferences. For concerts or events with no seating, we can accommodate up to 300 guests. We provide professional sound, lights and video walls in our Main Hall, so you can decorate the whole room and create a custom environment with minimal effort. We have several room sizes available depending on your event needs.
Yes, you can choose your own caterer. And we're surrounded by great local providers so we can offer some recommendations if you'd like. You cannot sell alcohol without a permit from the city and a licensed caterer/bartender, but you are allowed to have it at your non-ticketed event as long as it is served by a licensed TABC server.
