The first step of getting married at San Francisco City Hall is to make an appointment!
There are two reservations you'll need to make, one for your marriage license and one for your civil ceremony.
You are strongly advised to check for ceremony appointment availability PRIOR to scheduling your marriage license appointment.
Reservations can be made up to 90 days in advance.
For your ceremony, you have the option to choose to have a civil or a private ceremony.
Civil ceremony can be booked here.
