I'm Margot Robert - Full time photographer and visual storyteller, part time adventurer, traveler and surfer. I'm always on the go, camera in tow, snapping shots of recently engaged love birds in Palm Springs, newlyweds partying in Los Angeles or soul mates renewing their vows in Malibu. I'm a hopeless romantic (a terrible side effect of my french DNA) and forever in love with capturing beautiful and timeless moments.
If you are into connection and emotion, adventure and creativity, I think we'll get along quite well. From the first time we chat on the phone, to the last photo of the shoot, I'm constantly focusing in on who you are and what makes you unique. For me, photography is more than "just taking some photos"; instead, I see it as a chance to connect and make a beautiful moment in the story of your life.
When it comes to photography, our experience together during the shoot matters just as much as the finished gallery of photos. So I'm into having fun, finding those magical moments, and delivering a beautiful finished product.

Living in Paris after my formal education had ended offered me lots of opportunities to shoot, and I took my camera everywhere.
Among university friends I quickly became the "official (aka: annoying) photographer".
I was obsessed with taking portraits of everybody and everything.
Even back then I found beauty in people's stories and importance in the small things that made them different.
Photography was, and still is, my way to tell those stories to the world.
When I was nine years old my dad bought me my first camera and I haven't stopped taking photos since.

Everybody agrees that it's important to record a once-in-a-lifetime event.
I have nothing against Uncle Bob who wants to capture you exchanging vows on a beach with his new iPhone (I like you Uncle Bob!), but maybe one time events, like your wedding, should be trusted to a professional who can capture your day and help you throughout the creative process.
In order to take extra care of my couples, I can only commit to a limited amount of weddings per year.
I usually book my clients around 9 months before their date but some couples contact me a month before saying I do.

Wether you're eloping with your amour or celebrating your marriage with family and squad, finding the photographer who will capture these precious and emotional memories is one of the most important decisions you'll make.
After all, the cake will be eaten up, the flowers will fade, but your memories and the photos of you walking down the aisle, your first dance as a married couple, and your family gathered all together will be here forever.
Not only will we spend the entire day side-by-side, but I will be at the heart of all the most intimate moments.

I am so grateful my photography puts me in contact with you, someone at the most important time of their life.
I get to be present and record beautiful milestones and moments.
A portrait is not taken with a camera, it's taken with the heart, the brain, and the soul; so I like to make sure I am connecting with my clients before I click the camera shutter.
If you just got engaged, congratulations!
There is a lot to do now, and there are so many options out there.
Hiring the right vendors can really help ease the stress of planning a wedding.
